DENVER, CO – After cancelling the annual ACS Conference & Competition, scheduled to take
place in Portland, Oregon July 23-25, the American Cheese Society is pivoting to a virtual
members-only event. The first ever Virtual Member Meeting will be held online July 23 as a free
half-day event.

Highlights will include a special session hosted by Ari Weinzweig, honoring the 2020 Lifetime
Achievement Award winner, an open forum led by our team on the new direction of ACS, and
announcement of the two new Board of Directors members elected by ACS members.

The Virtual Member Meeting is part of online programming starting summer 2020 and going
through the rest of the year. These webinars, meetings, and events are designed to create the
same sense of education and community that our industry has come to know and enjoy each
and every year since ACS’ founding in 1983.

More details and information will be posted at https://www.cheesesociety.org/acs-virtualprogramming/.
