Membership Options

ACS offers various membership levels to fit you or your company’s needs! Once you know what level you’d like to join at, you can fill out the form here.

ACS membership is on a calendar year. Join now and your membership will be active through December 31st.

Professional Membership

Professional membership is available for Producers (those who make cheese and/or cultured dairy products) and Trade Affiliates (all other professionals who work in, serve, and/or support the cheese and specialty food industry). 

There are two levels of Professional Membership: Individual and Organizational (Small Business or Corporate).

Associate Membership

Associate Membership is available to those who are not involved in the industry professionally, but who love cheese! Associate members are not eligible to vote in ACS elections and are not eligible to serve on the Board of Directors.

There are two levels of Associate Membership: Student and Enthusiast.

Individual Membership: $175

Individual Membership is designed for industry professionals who seek educational opportunities, networking, online resources, and professional development opportunities for personal growth and career advancement. Each Individual Member receives 1 vote in ACS elections.

Small Business Membership is designed for companies that wish to provide up to 3 of their owners, management, staff, and employees access to education, networking, and professional development – and who wish to promote their company, products, and/or services among the cheese community. Small Business members receive 1 vote per company allocated to the Primary Contact on file.

  • Small Business 1– $225 (includes 1 member)
  • Small Business 2– $400 (includes 2 members)
  • Small Business 3– $600 (includes 3 members)

Corporate Membership is designed for companies that wish to provide 4 or more of their owners, management, staff, and employees access to ACS education, networking, and professional development – and who wish to promote their company, products, and/or services among the cheese community. Corporate members receive 1 vote per company allocated to the Primary Contact on file.

  • Corporate 4 – $800 (includes 4 members)
  • Corporate 5 – $1,000 (includes 5 members)
  • Corporate PLUS – $1,250 (Corporate 5 membership PLUS DISCOUNTS on key ACS products/services extended to unlimited company representatives)
  • Corporate Sustaining– $3,000 (Corporate 5 membership plus FULL ACCESS TO ALL BENEFITS extended to unlimited company representatives.)

Student Membership – $75
Designed for students currently enrolled at a higher education facility who would like to gain and/or increase their knowledge about the world of artisan and specialty cheese.

Enthusiast Membership – $150
Designed for individuals who are not working in the cheese industry, but who would like to increase their knowledge about the world of specialty cheese, and who want to support the great work of American cheesemakers!
