American Cheese Society Announces Earlier 2026 Judging & Competition Dates
DENVER, Colorado – December 2, 2025 – The American Cheese Society (ACS) announced that the 2026 Judging & Competition will take place May 18–22, 2026, at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis.
The date reflects a slight shift from recent years, which has ranged from mid-May to mid-June. The adjustment is the result of campus scheduling considerations, including the university’s extended football calendar and its role as host for the Special Olympics in June.
The University of Minnesota has been an outstanding partner to ACS, providing a consistent, high-quality venue that supports the complexity of the competition. Hosting the event at the same location each year saves significant time and resources for staff, volunteers, and the Judging & Competition Committee, allowing them to focus on delivering exceptional experience for producers and judges.
